Violinist & composer, Naomi Tagg has performed in over 20 countries and on 4 continents over the last 15 years, captivating audiences worldwide with her unique style and versatility as a violinist. Equipped with her lively personality and rebellious attitude, Naomi’s performances range from Ibiza-style lounge and house to dance floor bangers, explosive classical crossover shows and powerful film/gaming-style performances. When she’s not on the stage, Naomi is pushing musical boundaries in the studio with her various projects ranging from her film music-inspired project, Neolektra, to her Afro-House party band, All Stars. She released her debut album, Neolektra Birth of a Heroine to international acclaim and gave a debut performance live on BBC Radio London. She was also invited to perform at the world’s second largest arts festival, National Arts Festival (South Africa) in 2017 with her band, Neolektra - to rave reviews and sold out shows. 

 

Naomi has travelled the world as a solo electric violinist and with South Africa’s first female electric string quartet (formerly Muse SQ), performing all over the world for high-profile brands. She has performed for global celebrities, royalty, leading political figures and has been part of the opening acts for Sir Elton John, John Legend, Celine Dion, Michael Bolton and Soweto String Quartet.

Past clients include AirFrance/KLM, BWM, Audi, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, MOD, RAF, Moet & Chandon, Gucci, Heineken, Coca Cola, Google. Previous performance highlights include London Fashion Week, Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Miss South Africa, South African Music Awards (SAMA) awards, and many other prominent and luxury brands.

 

Naomi is an eclectic musician and performer and can also be found rocking the dance floor with her electric violin where she's performed alongside DJs across the world, from the nightlife of Manchester and the clubs of London, to the parties of Monaco and the beaches of Bahrain.

As a composer, you can find Naomi's works in her various musical projects ranging from film-inspired Neolektra to her South African instrumental party band, All Stars. She is excited to release the 2nd EP for All Stars under Ossia Records in 2023, which will see a fusion of violin and keys with Afro-House and AmaPiano. Her film-inspired project, Neolektra is gearing up for a new release in mid 2023 and this lush and moving EP explores the emotive side of strings, piano and electronics. Examples of her string arrangements can be heard in Johannesburg's female string quartet, Cinematica, playing your favourite pop songs reworked for strings.
